A Budget-Friendly Guide to the Greek Islands

Its every traveller's dream to visit the Greek Islands and enjoy those sandy beaches and blue white houses. The sight is worth exploring; thousands of large and small islands make up the Greek islands, out of those thousands, few islands are worth visiting.

Every year, thousands of visitors around the globe visit this heaven on Earth. This is a clear indication that Greece is a budget-friendly country, and in this short blog post, we will see how much we can save from our budget during our trip to the Greek Islands.

1- Cheap Greece Flights

First things first, if you get the cheap airfare then you can save a lot of money, but it depends on several factors, like if you are planning to travel during peak season then don’t expect to save any bucks. It is estimated that April and May are the best months for the cheapest flight options.

If you're travelling from London, then London Stansted and London Luton are served by low-cost carriers. Also, you can save some bucks on cheap Luton airport parking as well as Cheap StanstedAirport Parking.

2- Budget-Friendly Accommodations

Hotels are the better choice; they are cheaper and affordable, but if you are looking for the cheaper option, then I would recommend you to stay in the guest houses or family-run hotels as they tend to be less expensive compared to the large chain hotels.

3- Eat Local

Avoid restaurants and dining that are especially designed to attract tourists as they have high prices, while you are staying there always opted for the eateries that are popular among the local Greek populations.

4- Transportation

First of all you have to walk when it is possible, but if your destination is way ahead of your hotel then try to use the local transport rather using taxis or private cabs.
